EDITORIAL PROFILE
The Hmong Christian Herald exists to inform, inspire, encourage, motivate Christians in their daily Christian life and to evangelize those not yet believe in Jesus Christ through personal testimonies, news articles, and bible study materials.

INFORM
Our news pages keep readers informed of breaking news in and around the Hmong community and around the world. Publishing future events in the Hmong community as well as happenings in the Christian community such as leadership seminars, special conferences for parents, and other calendar of events that will impact the Hmong community.

The papers are distributed freely to the community via grocery stores, public access buildings and delivered to those who are interested in a subscription alternative (the subscription rate is at $1.50 per issue or an annual fee of $18.00 which will be delivered via US Postal mail to subscriber's residence).

INSPIRE
Our news pages not only keeps our readers informed of the current events affect Hmong around the world but also inspire them with biblical perspective on the news to challenge our readers to live out their personal convictions as Christians in their respective community.

ENCOURAGE
From thoughtful news articles to inspiring personal testimonies of Christian believers world wide, HCH provides encouragement to local Christian to grow in their walk with Jesus Christ on a daily basis.

MOTIVATE
From thoughtful articles on pressing issues facing the Hmong community and especially the Hmong Christian community to inspiring stories of God at work in lives of local believers as well as Hmong Christian world wide, the HCH motivates Hmong Christians in the Twin Cities to actions-living
out their faith on a daily basis.

EVANGELIZE
From thought provoking to practical biblical advice on family and personal relationship, HCH challenges our readers to consider the Lordship of Jesus Christ and make a personal commitment to follow Him through personal conversion of the heart.

DEMOGRAPHICS
The Hmong Christian Herald reaches a specific target audience, the Hmong community in the Twin Cities, who share a common cultural value whether they are Christians or not. For advertisers targeting the Hmong community, HCH can produce remarkable results.

GENERAL
All advertising is subject to the approval of the publisher. family & Youth Advancement Services reserves the right to cancel or reject at any time any advertisement that does not meet the publisher's standards of acceptance.

The publisher is not bound by terms or conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on order blanks, placement sheets or copy instructions, which conflict with the terms and conditions detailed in this rate card.

DEADLINES
The Hmong Christian Herald is published on last Thursday of every other month throughout the year (6 issues per year). The deadline for ad copy is on the third Monday prior to an issue. See
advertising schedule for issue dates and deadlines. Cancellations after deadline are billed 50% of the cost for reserved space.

CREDIT AND BILLING
Only advertisers with established accounts may charge advertising. Advertisers without established accounts must pay before publication. Advertising is billed each issue on publication, with payment due 30 days from the billing date.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
Proofs of ads are available upon request, and are recommended for the first time an ad is run. Advertisers requiring proofs must submit copy and artwork two full working days before an ad
deadline.

Liability for error will not exceed the cost of space occupied by the error. Claims for allowances for errors must be made within 10 days of publication date. Credit errors is allowed on first insertion only. The advertiser assumes liability for total content of the advertisement.

Family & Youth Advancement Services accepts no liability for errors in ads which are submitted camera-ready or on film.

Liability for failure to publish an advertisement is limited to the refund of any amount prepaid for the publication of that advertisement.

MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS
The Hmong Christian Herald Sections are tabloid sized, approximately 10 1/8" wide by 15" deep. The paper is printed web off-set on newsprint, with five columns per page (75 columns per page).

POSITION
Every effort will be made to comply with reasonable position requests, to avoid adjacencies between competing ads, and to avoid placing coupons back to back. A position guarantee
requires a 25% surcharge, and is subject to approval by the publisher.

Hmong Christian Herald
As a non-profit Christian organization, we have a unique position in the Hmong community. We believe that we have a competitive market in the community. However, as a non-profit organization, we do not advertise for profit. Thus, our ad prices are considerably lower and competitive that other community newspapers in the Twin cities.

CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING
Classified advertisements will be charged by the number of words printed in each classified ad.

PRE-PRINTED INSERTS
HCH will gladly work with our customers in negotiating the price of a pre-printed insert. All pre-printed inserts must be submitted to the office of Family & Youth Advancement Services, Inc. at least one week prior to publication deadline.
